Speaker: Paul W. Vapnek, Of Counsel, Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP

Paul Vapnek, Of Counsel, Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, handles litigation pertaining to patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade secret and related antitrust law. He also aids clients with the technology licensing and prosecution of intellectual property, primarily trademarks and copyrights. He was an Assistant Professor of Law at Hastings College of the Law, University of California, for 12 years and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State. Paul has published numerous articles, including \"Intellectual Property Law Practice in the 1980s: Dealing with the Expectations of a More Informed Clientele,\" \"The Lawyer and Unfair Competition,\" \"Infringement and Remedies Provisions of the New Copyright Law,\" and \"Invention Developers: Public and Private Litigation and Legislative Solutions.\"
