She is the founding partner of Vivien Chan & Co., a greater China law firm with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. She has more than twenty years\' experience in intellectual property, technology transfer and information technology, and is fluent in English, Mandarin, French and Cantonese.\"

TOPIC: “Fighting Counterfeiters in China for U.S. Technology Companies”

Ms. Chan’s presentation will focus on how to fight against counterfeiters through administrative actions, including enforcement bodies such as the Administrative Authorities for Industry and Commerce, Copyright Administrative Authorities, the Patent Administration Offices, and court proceedings in China. She will discuss the various remedies available through taking these actions as well as the overall strategy in working with U.S. technology companies to fight counterfeiters in China.
